Toronto, October 30, 2009 - International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), the professional association for Business Analysts, is now offering a corporate membership program to businesses located anywhere in the world.

The Corporate Membership Program provides services that help organizations improve their business analysis practices by using the knowledge and capabilities offered by IIBA® .

As part of corporate membership, IIBA will conduct an assessment of the organization's business analysis practices and develop a roadmap for continuous improvement. Many project failures can be directly attributed to poor requirements gathering, inadequate business analysis and inappropriate project management. Generally accepted business analysis methodologies can avoid many of these pitfalls.

Dave Bieg, COO at IIBA, says “Research shows that poorly defined applications and miscommunication between business teams and IT are chronic and very costly.” He adds, “Especially during this economic downturn, corporations can ill afford to invest in poorly defined projects.”

The new membership program offers a menu of products and services to choose from to meet specific organizational needs. Moreover, with corporate membership, companies receive other benefits including distribution of the BABOK® Guide within the organization without additional charges and reduced rates for job postings on the IIBA online career center.

More detailed information on this new program can be found in the Corporate Membership section of the IIBA website.
